| biodiesel |
Home heating fuel, comprised partly (B20) or wholley (B100) of organic oil. Usually soy based,
but often containing recycled vegetable and industrial cooking oils. |
| boiler |
The unit which produces hot water for home heating. |
| furnace |
The unit which produces heated air for home heating. |
home heating oil also fuel oil |
Processed petroleum product safe to use and store in residential areas. |
| nozzle |
The part of the oil burner which atomizes oil so it can burn. |
| oil burner |
The area of the furnace or boiler in which combustion takes place. |
| radiant in-floor heating |
Warm water is circulated through tubes beneath the floor to warm rooms without the need for space
consuming radiators. |
